"Family Beach House"
The Admiral is a great family rental for the week. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle but a short 10min drive to shopping and restaurants. My kids loved the loft setup and we (adults) enjoyed the spacious interior of the house. We will be booking again for next year!

The Admiral Benbow is a great vacation home to spend a week at in Chincoteague. It is furnished with all your needs and is at a great location in Oyster Bay 1. We enjoy the 3 porches and it sits beautiful in a group of shade trees. We have been coming here for 3 years in September and hope to for many more.

We also stayed at the Admiral Benbow last year. We returned with our 92 year old mm and niece and partner in their early 30s. The layout of the home accommodated us all perfectly. The big kitchen table was great to have family dinners around. We bought fresh produce from the Farmers market and fresh fish daily from the fish store nearby - the well-supplied kitchen made cooking fun and easy. The short drive to the beach for a few hours of surf and breezes was fantastic. We had a brief plumbing problem with one toilet that management resolved almost immediately despite it being Sunday of a holiday weekend. Couldn’t have been a better stay.

We love the neighborhood and the layout of the house… perfect for a family with adult kids! Privacy and a patio for all… and if you like to cook you will Find the kitchen stocked and a gas grill! Love it.

we have been coming to Chincoteague for over 40 years.Camped when our children were young which was lots of fun. Renting a house is more comfortable as we are now older. Over the years we had family and friends come down the same week. One year we had about 50 people. We meet at the beach in the same spot and have lots of fun swimming and playing games. We had five couples get married on the beach or island over the last 10 years. Just the simple lifestyle that makes it special.

It was like staying in a big tree house. We made use of all the outside porches. The kitchen/dining room sits in the middle of a tree and what fun to eat and play cards in such a setting. Ramp was great for my husband's bad knee to move us in and out. Have already requested for next year!

The house was perfect. I was surprised at how thoughtful it was that they had everything. The kitchen was full of every possible gadget you needed. The had tons of movies and books and even toys for the kids. The house was beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room and wonderful decks to enjoy. Definitely recommend the Admiral Benbow!!
