We all really like staying here. My husband is older and it is very easy for him to have a place for him to fish, with or without the boat. My daughter enjoys the tennis courts. I like the areas for walking .

Stayed on the east side with wonderful modern accommodations. Quieter side of the island with quick access to EVERYTHING ! Can’t say enough about Coastal’s attention to detail and ease of registration. Checking in and out well organized. Have stayed multiple years and will continue. Coastal is the best of all!!!

Loved this house! Perfect for our family of three. Wonderful location next to the Memorial Park; my son took advantage of the playground and waterfront walkways. I would highly recommend this house to my friends as it was clean, well kept, and surprisingly spacious.

"Great option for a close knit family"

This property was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 younger children.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Our stay was off-season so there aren't available breakfast options so we did some grocery shopping and cooked each morning. Watching sunrise and sunset was a bonus with our view of the inland waters. This property has your essentials which gave us the comfort we needed as we were looking forward to exploring the island with bike riding, viewing the wild ponies, and spending time on the beach. There is a water hose available to rinse of sand and salt water from my vehicle which was a bonus!Would probably need to explore alternative property if you have a larger family and older kids.

This was a perfect place for a much-needed weekend away. Rental was clean, neighbors were quiet, and the view was spectacular. Nothing better than waking up to the sound of waves and water. Leah was accommodating and attentive And you could definitely see this place is well taken care of an extra steps are taken to make sure guess enjoy their stay.

My family of 5 kids and 5 Gkids enjoyed the Island July 3-10th, 2021. My wife, son & I enjoyed our stay at Assateague Overlook using it as the family base station. Enjoyed beautiful waterfront view, boat ramp for Jetski, kayaking, kids play area and tennis courts. My wife and I joined the tennis group each morning for a couple hours of doubles tennis. The Overlook was clean and with 2 bathrooms served as a great base station for daily events mentioned along with group meals. Would recommend the Overlook to enhance your Island stay. We will be back!

the location was great. We have a bass boat and we brought it in and out everyday at the landing close by. The beds were comfortable and we rested well after 5 to 7 hours of fishing. We cooked all our meals using the facilities in the kitchen. Washed and dried our clothes while watching TV in the evening. Great accommodation for a wonderful fishing trip.

The thing that makes this house really great is location. It's next to the park and our kids played in the park a whole lot. We could watch them from the porch. It's very close to the assateague Island and is very well located on Chincoteague.The queen bed was not all that comfortable. It was okay. Overall it was adequate for what we needed which was a 4-day weekend with two kids. Check in and check out was perfect and easy. The rental company that manages this property did a nice job leaving the pamphlet for us. The internet worked.We enjoyed our stay.

Overall this is a very nice location, but could use some updating. The bed was very uncomfortable and my husband and I ended up sleeping on the twin beds.

My wife youngest son and myself used Assateague Overlook as the base location for my entire family of 5 kids, wife & 5 Grandchildren. We enjoyed tennis everyday, pavilion and play equipment for family time, dock for fishing, ramp for Jetski. The Overlook was comfortable for sleeping and entertaining. Planning on returning in 2021!!Michael

The first floor is an open room consisting of the kitchen, dining area and living room (with queen sleeper sofa). You'll also find a full bath on this level. The second floor offers a queen bedroom with a private deck that has unlimited views of the Assateague Channel. The second bedroom (upstairs) has two twin beds and you'll find another full bathroom on the second level as well. Need more space? Rent Channel Lookout next door! (Waterfront area, dock, pier and playground equipment pictured are community property at Memorial Park.)
