"Great Porch!"
This house was really cute. We had a wonderful stay. The back porch is the best! The house is really old and cut up as would be expected. It was neat to find the house diaries and we loved the library. The kitchen has most everything needed plus a bunch of things that would probably never be used which take up space that could have been used for groceries and such. It was nice to have a washer and dryer too. Overall, we had a fabulous time. Blue Point was a nice little piece of Chincoteague history.

We loved everything about our stay in Chincoteague. The house was well-appointed and quite comfortable. The stairs were a bit rough for my bad knee but quite doable. Our dog ran off and it felt like we had the entire island helping us look for her. We got her back and were charmed and comforted the sense of community. We don't often repeat vacation houses but this is one we will consider. Thank you!

Well appointed, comfortable home. Everything one could want, "just open a drawer." Loads of books, history, watch wildlife from the screen porch, just a great place to spend the week. The owners have lovingly paid attention to every detail. As a traveler, I don't believe I've stayed in a home this hospitable and open to guests. Class act. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay on Chincoteague in this cozy yet spacious home once again. This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this home and we always enjoy our time here. The screened porch is a great place to have morning coffee.

Very quaint. Full of old time knicknacks. If you’re on the large side, this place is not for you. V little room in bathroom for toiletries or to turn around. There’s very little room in kitchen for food storage. Outside shower and enclosed porch are pleasant. It’s a nice quiet place off the beaten path.

We've come here every year (sometimes twice in one year) for 8 yrs. and love this property. Huge screened in porch, huge yard for dogs to run, and roomy house inside decorated in an antique style. Has a great library! New appliances in the kitchen (including a W & D), 3 bedrooms, living room, and outdoor shower. The property is located on a quiet one way street. Beautiful. Highly recommend.

Really nice home on a quiet street near Main Street. The lock thing is kind of a pain when you have your hands full of stuff. Otherwise no issues.

Overall good experience. Love this home with respect to pets. Isolated with nice yard and beautiful screened in porch. Been staying here for many years. Needs a bit of attention with respect to kitchen bowls casseroles and baking pans. Also Tv should be up and working. Newer appliances a plus. The south side of home needs blinds/shades. Unbearable in late afternoon. Overall good experience. Always clean. Been coming here for many years. Unfortunately the hugh rental increase makes it unaffordable for me.

We have rented several places from Chincoteague Resort Vacations and this ranks towards the top. It was a nice location and clean house. Equipped kitchen was ok, but a few little things here and there mentioned from previous renters not fixed, the screen door handle was one, little but annoying. For a list of 6 people was odd set up for 2 living rooms.

I loved the old wood floors in Blue Point. The eclectic decor, the screened in back porch and the grill and outdoor shower . The location was very close to town since we love to bike during our stay in the Island. Very close to bayview but there was one home nearby that was less the eye pleasing.

We’ve been coming to this wonderful place every year for seven years. It’s a huge green and lush property on a dead end street that’s very quiet and peaceful. There are antiques inside the house, including a pot belly stove in one of the living rooms. It has everything you want or need, from books (lots) to a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. The back screened in porch is roomy and looks out onto the large back yard with its ton of trees all around. The neighbors next door are so nice, friendly, and quiet. I can’t recommend Blue Point enough. Bring your family, large (3 bedrooms) or small, and your dog, who will be most welcome here!

My husband and I have been coming to Chincoteague since the early 1980's. Always stay at a different house; depending on overall availability. Our family has grown over the years and it's always a joy to come back to the island. We have always had a great experience when renting homes for our yearly vacations. Blue Point house provided us with the comforts of home (it's a very old house which I personally love. The week was very enjoyable and relaxing.

We had a lovely time at Blue Point! The screen porch is amazing and we spent many hours out there playing games and sharing meals. The house itself is very homey and comfortable. The a/c keeps the house nice and cool. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Our teen daughters enjoyed sharing the connected upstairs bedrooms and bathroom as a sort of teen suite. For those not able to climb steps, the bedrooms are all upstairs and the steps are a bit steep. The bathrooms are on the smaller side. One is upstairs and one is downstairs. The house is a short walk to the inlet. We walked up most nights to see the amazing sunsets. Also a short walk to the fairgrounds would be nice when the fair starts again. Overall a very nice comfortable beach house.

Charming is the word for this lovely home. From the time the red door welcomed us we felt so at home here. Cheery with a touch of vintage as just what we needed to decompress. And love the fact that we could bring our dog. He is a big part of our family.

We truly enjoyed our stay and the amenities of the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach supplies were an added bonus! The atmosphere was warm, inviting and home-like. Our kids enjoyed the yard, we ate dinner on the screened porch, perused the library and took advantage of the outdoor shower after days at the beach! We will be back!

Come for an old fashioned family vacation. This wonderfully maintained classic Chincoteague-style home features a large screened porch and beautiful, spacious yard for those warm summer evenings. A great enclosed outside shower comes in handy for rinsing the sand off after a long day at the beach. Downstairs there is a family room with a wood stove, living room/library with a TV and an eclectic selection of books, a formal dining room, full bath and kitchen. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bring your kids and pets along, there is plenty of room to play!
- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.
