We absolutely love staying in this unit. Already have reservations for next year. Just a warning about the television service, it’s a pain in the neck. I also went through and knocked down some cobwebs in corners. I will deal with a couple things to have the location and view that we have there.

We have been staying at this location for the past five years. We love the location, the house, the view, and most of all Chincoteague Island.

We stayed for 19 days in October. Had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for the 2 of us. My husband caught lots of fish on the dock and I was able to enjoy walks around the park. The view was breathtaking and a joy to wake up to and end the evening with everyday.

The property was as advertised: great location with nice view, nicely decorated and well kept. The living room furniture looked brand new. We would recommend and would come back and stay here again. We had a couple of excellent dinners out.

This rental property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and well-maintained. The playground next door also makes it a great place for young kids.

We enjoyed our stay at Channel Lookout. The management company was easy to work with, and check-in and check-out were smooth and contactless. The property is accurate in terms of location, layout and amenities. Do be sure to bring toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap as well as your own towels and linens. Both bedrooms face the channel, and we both slept well. The townhouse is nicely located on the Assateague Channel and next to Memorial Park, but if you are looking for views of the lighthouse or sunset, this isn't the house. The kitchen was well appointed except for wine glasses--oddly it only had three :0) The park next door has a play ground, basketball courts and tennis courts, and there is a put-in for kayaks and canoes. If you like cooking seafood, I would definitely recommend both Gary Howard Seafood and Ricky's Seafood and Produce (brothers).If you happen to be there when Black Narrows Brewery is open, they have good beer and pleasant outdoor seating. We also enjoyed food at two food trucks: Backyard Firepit on Church Street and Having a Meltdown--on Chicken City Road, conveniently a few steps away from Black Narrows.

We've stayed here twice in the last few months. It's a wonderful location, sitting right on the Assateague Channel, facing across to the wildlife refuge. We prefer off-season visits, so we don't know how busy the park is, but it's nice at our times of the year. There's a kayak launch less than a hundred feet away, and next time we'll bring our yaks and try the channel for some paddling fun.The house was clean and pretty, although one of the living room chairs was awfully hard. The check-in was nearly contactless and great, and check-out was even less "human" :-) The bed felt good, always a big deal for us.

The cottage we stayed in is perfectly situated on the Assateague Channel. It is open and airy and very thoughtfully furnished. Check-in was smooth and the staff was very helpful in helping me sort out the TV remotes soon after we checked in. We look forward to staying again!

Very clean and well kept rental. Great location,beside the park. Didn't use the park but very close by. Took 2 minutes to check-in, these people have their processes nailed down. Love the "make an offer" option for mini weeks in the summer. Will be a returning customer!!!!

We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful home! We loved the comfy beds, the park right next door with swings, etc. We want to come back! This is such an amazing side of Chincoteague, and cute houses. Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental! It provided instant vacation for us. We cant wait to come back!

Nice accommodations. Beautiful location. Chincoteague Resort Vacations have a wonderful staff and are very accommodating to your needs.We like to cook, eat at home. Kitchen is nice.Needs a couple of more kitchen items, sauce pan, knives.Overall wonderful place.

Channel Lookout is a very nice duplex to spend the week. the kitchen appliances are wonderful. The view to see the Assateague channel from every front window is incredible. the front porch and chairs are wonderful to sit out on in the morning and in the evening. There are two full bathrooms with exhaust fans. The mattresses leave a good bit to be desired. Both Twins and queen beds firm mattresses. If you have trouble sleeping I am a new place you will definitely have trouble sleeping here the first few nights. I would also suggest ceiling fans being placed in every room. Chincoteague Resort Realty is awesome. They take very good care of their clients. They left a welcome bag for the guest that included toilet paper hand soap paper towels. they also gave us two free passes to the Chincoteague Museum. Please be sure to go to the Chincoteague Museum and participate in the scavenger hunt. I highly recommend Channel Lookout to any family of four. Or less

This house was perfect for our family. It is in a convenient location and the house self is very comfortable.

Nice duplex. All rooms accept bathroom face the Assateague Channel. Very quiet location. Great setup for two friends. One twin headboard needs to be tightened. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and first floor would be a good addition. Wi-Fi works good. Ask reality company for browser name. Had to play elimination game. Wonderful place to sit out by water in the evening. Highly recommend staying at Channel Lookout. Will post about mattress and sleeping comfort later
