"Our Happy Place"
This was our fourth stay in Charlotte's Morning Sun, so it's obvious that we love it there. The layout of the house and the spectacular views of the bay and night sky make it one of the best rentals on the island. We were happy to see that some upgrades to the living room furniture were made since our last visit. The bedrooms and attached bathrooms make it perfect for our family of 5 adults. We have already booked it for 2025!

The house is stunning! We will most definitely return!! The floor to ceiling windows allowed for gorgeous views, every bedroom had its own full bathroom, and tons of thoughtful touches like ponchos and umbrellas in the front closet made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Also, management was very responsive when we had a small maintenance issue. This was a 5 star experience!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home. This is clearly a well-maintained and cared-for home. The thoughtful details show. The kitchen and the bathrooms were great, which can be rare in a vacation home. Beds were comfortable, furniture was ample and the windows everywhere make for a truly memorable experience. We have been coming to the island for over 23 years, and have stayed in many homes. This one is a gem.

This house is a great place to relax, watch the sunrise in the morning and the birds and turtles. Enjoyed kayaking right off the dock, catching blue crabs and having a boil.

I thought my cousin's home in Exmouth England would be my most favorite home, but Charlotte's Morning Sun has it hands down. Our stay has become an annual event and I look forward to each and every minute of every stay! Clean and very well supplied and the views are AWESOME! The thunderstorm one night was amazing and the full moon outstanding! The minute we pull out the drive way I start counting down until we will return!

We have rented this home every year since the first year that it was offered and hope to continue doing so. It’s a beautiful home (inside and outside) in great location with a view of Oyster Bay that is breathtaking, especially in the morning as the sun rises, the home is aptly named. And the amenities are complete both internally and externally (including fishing, kayaking, crabbing), all in a quiet neighborhood.

Charlotte's Morning Sun is located in a wonderful location. Wonderful sunrises and roof deck. We notified management that the dishwasher would not drain and that the toaster had wires loose. They sent someone who fixed the draining issue, but it still did not work. Toaster was never replaced. Broken deck chair still on the roof that was there two years ago. Beds are very low and uncomfortable No box springs. Upstairs' bathrooms are great.

The house was beautiful and we loved seeing so much water through the windows.They do need to provide more wine glasses. There were only 3 but my guess is that the manager was not aware of the shortage. Also, the propane tank for the grill was empty. Everything else was great!

We absolutely loved the house and location!! Just lovely. In terms of any improvements, I would recommend potentially adding toppers to the beds or possibly replacing some of the beds, Most couples didn't find the beds comfortable. Outside of that, we loved the home and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. We'd love to rent the house again!! Next time we also hope to enjoy the deck and patio. We had the NorEaster come through while we were there. :-)

My wife and I stayed at Charlottes Morning Sun to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We have visited Chincoteague a few times in the past and we always stayed in a hotel for just two or three day visits. For this occasion we were looking for a waterfront home that was comfortable and also had amazing views. Charlottes Morning Sun delivered an awesome experience all around. A quiet and secluded neighborhood. Amazing views from just about every room. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and cookware, including crap pots . The binoculars and telescope came in handy for watching the birds and other wildlife. This house was designed with attention to detail and quality. Very well done. Charlottes Morning Sun reminded us of the type of home youd see featured in an issue of Coastal Living magazine. Dealing with Chincoteague Resort Vacations was a pleasure. Check in and check our went smooth and easy. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. Well be back next year!

What a beautiful home! It was so comfortable for our family (grandparents and 4 young children included). And the early morning views from the kitchen, porch, living room, and bedrooms were amazing!!! The photo above is the sunrise we saw from Charlottes Morning Sun. Loved it!

Wow - what a stunning home! The house is spotlessly clean and beautifully designed; with large windows and decks and screen porch exactly where you want them to enjoy the spectacular setting. In addition to high-end cabinetry in kitchen and baths and beautiful woodwork, we have appreciated the welcoming details such as labeled light switches and binoculars at the ready, We have been comfortable here, and I hope that we come back soon for another relaxing Chincoteague vacation!
