"Island Thyme"
We loved everything about this house. While there were only two of us this house is equipped for many quests. It's clean and very comfortable. We'll be hoping to rent this house again.

This house met all of our family’s needs for a reasonable price. It isn’t the newest house on Chincoteague, but it’s clean and well maintained. Our group especially the kids particularly liked the hot tub. I would rent this place again in the future.

House was clean and well laid out large master bedroom and bath. Other two beds at opposite end. Quiet area off the beaten track not easy to find at first as road in direction does not exist.

Nice home, well situated in a quiet neighborhood. We had our bikes and it was really convenient to move in town (+ there are bike racks on the side). During our stay, we left early morning and came back at night, but few things were enjoyable: BBQ grill uses gas, hot tub was warm and ready to use (there was some sand in it though). Rooms are spacious and were clean. Finally, the booking was easy and the staff was available if we needed anything during our stay. If we come back to Chincoteague Island, we will book through Chincoteague Resort Vacations again.

Convenient home on a small lane within walking distance of Main Street shops. Home was clean and spacious. We appreciated the comfortable beds, large kitchen, and hot tub. An older home with practical layout and a great location.

We enjoyed our stay in the middle of the island. There was lots of room to spread out and it was very clean. Even with the older furniture, everything was comfy including the beds. Had 2 TV.s and many "good" pots and pans to cook with.

we enjoy this house but are disappointed by several things.1sand in the hot tub when we arrived.2the fireplace does not work and is shown in the photos on web site working3the grill was broken and it took till the day before we left for a replacement to arrive.4the dining furniture is just old. the table doesn't close up when removing extensions and is wobbly and not level at best. the chairs are old wobbly and uncomfortable and one is even broken in the breakfast area.We do enjoy this house and it's features , when working.

This house is perfect for a family to stretch and enjoy leisure time. Every thing was clean and the hot tub was enjoyable. The only negative thing is that it is advertised to have 3 queen size sleeping spaces and two were only doubles. The only reason I mention it is that the teenagers grumbled about sleeping so close to each other. However, the other amenities made up for it.

We had a great time at "Island Thyme." It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The house was the perfect size for us. Our only complaint was the twin bed needs a new frame and there was a board sticking out from under one of the queen beds. We would rent this house again or recommend to others.

This spacious home features a living room and den, large eat-in kitchen and dining area, and a huge wrap-around deck -- perfect for enjoying the quiet, peaceful setting. The many extras include a hot tub (on back deck), and Foosball table. And, it is conveniently located at the back of the Chincoteague Carnival grounds, so you can walk to the carnival (July only) on those warm summer nights!
