"Just what we wanted"
We were looking for a quiet, private home that could sleep 8 and have room to congregate with family. Moon Rising provided that with a large ,screened in deck overlooking Asseteague Island. We had a n amazing four night stay and would do again. Thank you!

we had a great time and the house was in good shape except for three small things. only 1 of the three sliding doors locked, the master tv didn't work and the water was shut off to the hose. that being said, we can't wait to come down in July!

My biggest problem with Moon Rising is that it was so peaceful and relaxing, it made it hard to leave! This I will absolutely be our go to when we plan to return. It was clean and easily accessible to everywhere we wished to visit. The beds were extremely comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. I would recommend this to everyone.

Second time staying at Moon Rising. Love the location. House is very well stocked with everything you need. It was also very clean. Could use new living room furniture. Also, the website is misleading as to how many houses share the dock. Looks like 3 houses--not 2 like the Moon Rising description states.

The house was wonderful. Fit our needs. (Note when put in for rental. Was said to have two queen beds. And the one was a king- which was fine. But did not have sheets for that size). We were able to do so many things just from the house (kayaking swimming crabbing fishing) Due to the dock being there. Location nice did not have to deal with traffic, but was close to restaurants and fun activities.

Happy to see the new sofa.New mattress and pillows.Well equipped kitchen.New paint.Back yard and growth along boardwalk to dock has been cleaned up. Looks good.Nice to have our boat right at the water.A few cosmetic items need to be addressed.Overall a great house and another great stay.

Very nice waterfront home overlooking Assateague Island and lighthouse. Satellite TV, all amenities. Nice waterside deck areas. Long pier and dock (deep water) shared with house next door. New waterside screened porch and upper level balcony. Relax and chill out after a long day at the beach. Close to Memorial Park right across the street from a family restaurant! This is the perfect place for your island vacation -- and for larger groups or family reunions, check out nearby Herbie's Hideaway or Wildflower!
