The house was situated in one of the most serene surroundings, on very private property. The house was beautiful, with spacious bedrooms; the bonus was the attached bathrooms with every bedroom. We had such fun in the spacious living and kitchen area. Appreciated the good amount of china and cutlery in the house The home accommodated our cars with ease. The 'boardwalk' leading up to the waterway was beautiful. Loved the greenery around us. I was especially impressed with the quick response of all who work at Coastal Resort Vacations. You took care of all our needs and it was indeed a pleasure to be in your property. You were so hospitable and friendly, it made all the difference before we headed out to for our weekend fun. Would definitely recommend this to anyone considering this place.

My family and I love Wildcat Retreat and plan to return for another visit! The space was perfect for eight of us (my parents, my sister and brother-in-law, my husband and me, and our two kids). It was modern, clean, and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. The multiple decks offered additional living space and an incredible view of the dock and the water. Watching the sunset from the dock each evening was not to be missed. And, the perfectly placed windows in the house highlighted the beauty of nature: they framed the trees, clouds, and birds flying by. We all appreciated having our own bedroom that included a dresser, closet (with hangers and a laundry basket for our clothes so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase for the week!)and en suite bathroom. The washer/dryer was a bonus. It is a thoughtfully designed home that made us feel at home!

We come to Chincoteague every year & this year we brought my cousin & his family along to introduce them to this wonderful island. We chose Wildcat Retreat due to its size (8 of us!), how clean and beautiful it looked and location (sunsets & crabbing!). It did not disappoint!! We love being away from the busy-ness of town to enjoy the peace & quiet. The sunsets were nothing short of spectacular & we enjoyed them nightly from the beautiful dock. The kids absolutely loved crabbing & catching dinner for us! We easily caught over 60 crabs this week just off of our own dock! The home had everything needed to cook up those crabs & everything else we made for the week as well. We had such a wonderful week and definitely will be back! I truly appreciated the reminder & check in texts leading up to, and during, our vacation. It put my mind at ease to know we had someone to go to should any issues arise (they didn’t though!). Thanks for helping to make our trip smooth & enjoyable!

"One of the Best!"
Wildcat Haven and Wildcat Retreat were the perfect accommodations for our annual family vacation to Chincoteague. There is 16 of us and renting the two houses that are side by side was the win win for us! Plenty of space for the families to spread out, four bedrooms with their own bathroom was a fabulous selling point, well equipped kitchen. Having the beds made with the linen rental was a much-appreciated touch! Very relaxing area, great chance to view wildlife and breathtaking sunsets - ours were not as great this year due to the smoke from the Canadian wild fires. Wonderful memories were made and we plan to return!

Plentiful windows bring the outside in. Lots of steps give a workout to counteract the fantastic restaurants on the island. Ensuite baths give privacy. Beds are firm for a good night's sleep. Kitchen is stocked well for cooking and baking. Two dishwashers were really a bonus! Ice machine was handy for filling a cooler, as well as many glasses. We found the grocery store Island Foods to be to be fully satisfactory and well-priced. Wildcat Retreat is on our list of must-repeats!

Only for the discerning traveler, 'Wildcat Retreat' is the newest in luxury vacation accommodations on Chincoteague Island. The reverse floor plan is over 2,800 square feet and offers views of the bay and marshlands where wildlife abounds from nearly every room. The first floor features 4 bedrooms, all en-suite with full bathrooms and a large recreational room with second kitchen and waterside deck. The second floor features the main living areas - living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room - as well as another waterside deck and screened porch. If you enjoy fishing and crabbing, or just sitting at the water's edge, you'll LOVE the 500' private pier that extends into the Chincoteague Bay! Vacationing with a large group?
