Our family group had to be split when our original rental became unavailable. Wildflower had some really great features and some not so great features. The Great: spectacular views from the kitchen and back screened in porch. We had wonderful wildlife sightings on the property, including our first ever terrapin in the wild. The barnwood siding inside was really beautiful, the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We especially liked the outdoor shower. It was convenient to Herbie's Hideaway where the rest of the family stayed. The Not So Great: Those spiral stairs are treacherous! Definitely don't recommend this house for anyone with little kids or elderly. It was hard to get suitcases up to the bedrooms. The water filter on the refrigerator wasn't working and the dryer would heat but it wouldn't tumble so nothing got dry. Also, after an overnight rainstorm, the ceiling in the primary bedroom was wet and a piece of drywall started to come off. All that being said, Coastal Shores was extremely prompt about replying to our messages about the issues. Although the dryer and refrigerator weren't fixed, they did send someone out to look at the water damage in the bedroom. Not an awful house, but certainly not the best place we've stayed in Chincoteague.

Big, clean, wonderful place.

View was amazing. Loved the home. Stairs may not be ideal for younger kids but fine for 11 and 16. Loved the dock. Definitely one of the best places we have stayed in.

The staircase was a problem for my cousin. Place was wonderful otherwise. Great view. Place was very clean.

The house has wonderful views of the water, great location. The interior has a very relaxed feeling. It is a little difficult to get luggage up and down the spiral staircase. Easy rental process.

The house was fantastic the view from the main floor is great, house was clean cool and comfortble. not for little kids due to the internal spiral stair, but with older kids no problem.

This is the perfect house for a stay at Chincoteague. Clean, well located, great view.

Very enjoyable time at Wildflower. Very quiet part of island with a big backyard and many enjoyable hours on the dock fishing and crabbing. Sunrises were fabulous and moonlight over the bay were beautiful. Home was very nice , great views out the windows and balcony

We had stayed at the Wildflower in July, and we liked the house, however this time the guest bedroom queen bed was broken. I sent an email right away but no one ever came to repair it.

The house was really nice and great amenities. It would be nice to mention in the description that the small spiral staircase is the only stairs to get upstairs.The deck was really nice and peaceful. We had a great stay.

Overall this was a really nice place. It is on a quiet street, has a really nice large backyard and private dock. The kids loved playing there and fishing/crabbing from the dock. The best part was the large, well furnished kitchen. We saved a good bit of money cooking dinner at the house. The only drawback was the high circular staircase.
