Two decks and a screened porch wrap around half of the house, each with water and unsurpassed sunset views. Our family celebrated Thanksgiving this year at Crossroads. The scenic views from every window, fabulous! The sunsets viewed from the private peninsula and/or the "sunset/tree house" room were a daily occurrence. From the clean well equipped kitchen to the welcoming living space with fireplace, we enjoyed the surroundings, just relaxing. The beautifully decorated house with a variety of serving and decorative pieces was an extra plus. It was so reassuring when the actual property matched the photos and description as advertised. It is obvious the owners and property management company take great pride in proving a clean, well maintained house with friendly, efficient customer service! I would highly recommend Crossroads as a home away from home.Our family hopes to return to Crossroads in the future.

We loved Crossroads house, especialy the living/dining/kitchen space which was excellent for our nightly dining gatherings. We cooked at home 6 out of our 7 nights, and found the space well designed for this purpose. We especially enjoyed the abundance of windows which allowed us to enjoy the sunrise from the 'crows nest' room and the sunsets from all the rooms facing west! The management company was top notch in answering our questions in advance of our stay as well as addressing a plumbing issues during our stay. The house was not perfect, but as in all rental houses there is always room for improvement. Such as the bathrooms are in need of updating, the kitchen stove is on its last leg and the outdoor gas grill needs repairs or replacement.

We rented this unit several years ago and were just as happy with the place now as then. For a stay in Chincoteague, it is one of the best places we know of. Upgrades have been made recently and are nice. Place is spiffy, clean, kitchen has everything needed, check-in hassle-free. We really like being on the waterfront in a beautiful, quiet area.
