Every bedroom is a suite, to ensure all of the adults have the right amount of privacy and a quiet place to stow away with a book. The dining area is big enough to accommodate large family dinners and the kitchen has been newly remodeled and upgraded! With a breakfast bar and wide open living area, you can be sure to have lasting family moments together. Have your cameras ready to capture the changing tides, wildlife and those crazy family moments that are sure to happen in this lovely home. Grandview offers every amenity from a screened porch, an open deck, long pier with a dock, ceiling fans throughout, wireless internet and much much more! This home also includes the use of 2 kayaks.

"Wonderful, Quiet T ime on the Waterfront"

4 "retired' couples have been spending a long Jan/Feb weekend together for 20+ years, including time in the Pocono's and the last 10 years in Chincoteague. This year at Grandview was among the best. Accommodations are very good and evening sunsets beautiful.We happened across an evaluation in the "guestbook" that listed various and sundry problems at Grandview; our conclusion was total disbelief of the comments being provided. We would highly recommend Grandview to anyone and certainly would return!

Such a great house. Loved the appliances, dining room, living room furnishings, number of bathrooms and stunning view! Super clean and cozy. Great screen in porch and dock. Hope to return soon. Appreciated CRR’s timely help with sheets and check out. Make sure if you’re bringing your own linens to confirm the number of beds and sizes with CRR; was not quite as described on website listing.

The house was clean and comfortable, and well stocked. We enjoyed the Kayaks and the corn hole. The views were really lovely, the ceiling fans were quiet and effective, and the screened porch was great for getting away from the bugs.

"Wonderful House!"

We recently stayed at Grandview and had a wonderful experience. All information was clear and well communicated prior to our arrival. Upon arrival we had some difficulty with the keypad which turned out to be operator error. Immediately upon contacting the rental office they were prepared to send someone out to help us get into the house. I finally discovered my mistake in operating the lock so they didn't need to come out after all, but they were in constant communication with us. I even received a follow-up text a few hours later making sure everything was ok. The house is wonderful and the location, right on the water, is spectacular. Four bedrooms each with their own full bathroom and television is ideal for any larger group. The kitchen and living areas are well appointed and comfortable. Everything is in great condition and clean. There were three kayaks with all necessary equipment along with a ladies' bicycle. This house is all I could have asked for in a vacation rental.

We were so happy to return to Grandview this July for so many reasons. The home is beautiful and the view cannot be beat,it's so relaxing. Our grandchildren spent time in the water with their"Pops," and we cooked our meals and ate together as a family in the spacious kitchen. There are so many activities for every age...fishing, kayaking,and swimming just to name a few. Looking forward to our visit again next July.

This house has an amazing view of the water! Best part of the house is the view. So pretty and relaxing. Also, loved the screened in porch for dinners. Kids played out on the boat dock. Great house! Some of the furniture and upstairs bathrooms could use updating to make this house even better.

Our overall experience with this property was very positive. WE were there with extended family for a reunion week. The kitchen was very well stocked and the home was beautiful. The owners also included great extras, such as bikes and kayaks. Being pet friendly was also a big plus. Our only issues was that the property needed a good below surface cleaning. As an example, the air conditioning vents and ceiling fans blades were quite dusty. The exposed floors were clean, but the surfaces under the furniture were quite dusty. We also had a problem with raccoons getting into the screen room and eating some of our dry goods on our first night. They also went into the garbage bins, which were not in the enclosed corral when we arrived.

The Grandview looks exactly how it is described. Very open and perfect for a family vacation. It has so much to offer the dock for crabbing, kayaks to use and the most beautiful sunsets. It has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking or just ordering in. The customer service was excellent our screen door was broke and they came the same day and replaced it thanks to Charlie. We love the restaurants especially The Village, food trucks, Island Creamery and Mr. Whippy. We also went to the water park, biking, miniature golf, go carts, bumping water boats, and the beach. I highly recommend this vacation rental for a large family. We hope to return in 2 years.

This was our family's 40th year vacationing on Chincoteague (with a few missed years in between). We have stayed in many places on the Island and have experienced many different types of homes and locations. We have stayed in Grandview two or three times now and it is by far the home we love the most. The home, the management team, the cleaning crew, and the location are unbeatable. The flexibility, communication, and overall great customer service of the management team during the past very challenging year put the entire experience over the top. We are now in the second generation of our family enjoying and appreciating the beauty and warmth of Chincoteague and the wonderful people who live here. We are looking forward to many more years vacationing in this very special place. Hopefully in this very special home.

As 2017 has begun to slip away, we realized we did not make it to Chincoteague this year. We were a bit unsure what a late October visit would bring, but I jumped on the app and booked our favorite house, Grandview! Our dogs love walking through Wildcat to Captain Chandler's grave every morning and evening. We had the pleasure of walking the Nature Trail at night for the elementary school pumpkin festival. Fishing on the beach was everything Jimmy at Captain Steve's said it would be! Caught striper and red drum. Glad we brought our waders, as it was chilly. Smaller crowds and more wildlife than summertime. Grandview was, again, perfect!!!

This is one of the BEST vacation rentals in which we have stayed!! Everything was well maintained and well stocked. It was far enough out to give us peace and close enough to everything we wanted to see and do. Everyone we dealt with a your office was friendly and helpful. We had originally made the reservation for Sept 2018 and were unable to get there due to a hurricane. You were kind enough to transfer our reservation to this year. It was well worth the wait. I was one of four couples that camp together all summer long. We decided to have our first beach vacation together. I found this house that we could all have an individual suite. So we could have our own private space. Also pet friendly a rare find. It had very accommodating open floor plan. A private dock for fishing. And amazing sunsets. Already booked for next year before leaving the island. Great memories made, we will be talking about at camp.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Grandview. The location is secluded and private making it the perfect quiet getaway. The home had plenty of room and the bed room set ups are perfect. We loved Grandview. We have been visiting Chincoteague for seven years and this is by far our favorite house. There is so much to do for all ages. We played in the bay, shopped, ate in the indoor patio, grilled, busted Main Street, enjoyed the ponies, carnival, and made use of a lot of the crab pots and other house amenities.
