Description

Located on South Ridge Road, this lovely town-home features a private pier, central air conditioning, and galley style kitchen complete with a dining area and all necessary appliances. The cozy living room leads you onto one of two screened in porches perfect for unwinding with family and friends. Upstairs, you find a great master bedroom with en-suite, a full bathroom off the hallway, and a second bedroom that features a bunk bed and a queen size bed that looks out onto the second-level screened in porch affording amazing Chincoteague Island views.

- Linens and towels are not included with your reservation. Please inquire about our new attractive linen packages!
- No smoking is permitted on the premises. 
- Pets are not permitted on the premises.

Beautiful well maintained home with lots of pleasant water and wildlife views. Love the screened porches. The owner provided many amenities. We were there for 1 month and had a very relaxing stay. I would definitely return there.

We have always taken too many food things with us to Chincoteague. We did not take spices because the places we rent always have spices. I guess because of Covid the spices were all removed. As they say now MY BAD!

Misty's Thicket is a townhouse near Memorial Park, where my wife and I stayed for a week around Labor Day. It was great to be able to park right next to the front entrance, as it was easy to load and unload the car. The place was very quiet, was very clean, and had everything that you would need in the kitchen and elsewhere. The place had a screened balcony on the second floor and a large screened first floor porch with a picnic table. There was also a closet off the porch loaded with items such as a bicycle, fishing gear, charcoal, lighter fluid, etc. The owner even left a sign welcoming the guests to use the items. We enjoyed having dinner on the porch and cooked on the outside grill one of the nights we were there. The place had both cable TV and a streaming service with lots of free movies. The internet service went down one day and Charlie, from Maintenance, came over and was very helpful in restoring it. He even stayed to make sure all our devices were working before he left. We met Charlie in previous visits and he has always been very friendly and accommodating.We really enjoyed our stay at Misty's Thicket and it may be the best place we have stayed at in the 10 or so years that we have rented lodging by the week in Chincoteague. The only negative feature is that the steps leading to the upstairs were steep. However, the positive features of Misty's Thicket far outweighed the one negative feature and we would highly recommend it to a friend.

This was our 2nd year renting thru Chincoteague Island Vacation Rental Homes; and like 2021, we had no issues. They are highly recommended.We were in the quite section of the village away from all the congestion, which is not so bad for 2 septuagenarians. We are trying to convince our daughter, SiL and 2 grandsons to join us for 2023.The downside is the +500 miles from CLE; once we are on Chincoteague, there is no where else to go EXCEPT FOR Wallops NASA facility- many restaurants, the beach et cetera along with all the Teaguers hospitality. I am glad we found this pkace

We had a very enjoyable time at Misty’s thickets. So many Amenities were provided like beach chairs, beach umbrellas, bicycles, crabbing nets. The peer was enchanting in the eve. The state bird (Mosquito) was full force so the screened in top and bottom porch was very nice to have. Land scrapers were there at the town homes when we arrived which was ok but they was in our parking spot so we had to park in the next spot over which then made those guest park in our spot once the landScaper’s left which was well after 8pm. So parking was a little messy for the first 2 days but we got it figured out. Overall we had a great time.

We loved our stay at Misty's Thicket on Chincoteague Island. The condo was so nice and clean! We absolutely loved the two screened porches and the dock was great too! We can really tell that the owner takes good care of this condo. If you are looking for a place to stay, Misty's Thicket is perfect!!

This place was amazing! So many memories were made. The place was absolutely clean, well furnished with an amazing view . We enjoyed the dock so much, including teens and a 6 yr old. The porches were well used by us, and cool with the ceiling fans. I would highly recommend this place, no matter what the ages in your group. The staff were beyond friendly when I picked up the keys. Thank you so much for a very blessed place to stay.

My husband and I and our son, daughter-in-law, and their three small daughters spent a delightful week in Misty's Thicket. Clean, spacious, and well-appointed, the rental served us well. Lovely views from the screened-in porches for coffee in the morning and libations in the evening and the dock to the inlet behind the property added to its charm. The $75 cleaning fee was well-worth not having to spend our last morning attending to minute details. One drawback - parking for two vehicles was a bit tight.
