Discover your own piece of paradise at this incredible beach getaway! 'Our Happy Place' is the perfect retreat for up to 7 guests seeking comfortable, tastefully decorated accommodations. This cozy vacation home is clean, simple, and fully furnished, including amenities that will make you feel right at home. Even your furry, 4-legged family members can join in on the fun, as small to medium dogs are welcome.

Situated in the desirable Oyster Bay I waterfront community, 'Our Happy Place' is located at the end of a wide-mouth canal, offering unobstructed water views and a private dock platform. You'll love the convenience of being situated next to the community boat ramp, making it easy to launch your watercraft for a day of adventure.

Relax and unwind on the expansive wrap-around screened porch overlooking the water, featuring plenty of comfortable seating and a dining area. Savor your morning coffee or sip a cool drink after a day at the beach.

'Our Happy Place' is a single-level home with 3 cozy bedrooms that can accommodate up to 7 guests. The bedrooms include 1 queen, 2 twins, and 1 bunk bed (twin over double). There are 2 full bathrooms, one of which is a tub shower combo.

- Linens and towels are not included with your reservation. Please inquire about our new attractive linen packages!
- No smoking is permitted on the premises. 
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.

We found the house to be very comfortable. The kitchen had great appliances and everything worked well. There was cookware for the stove top but not the oven and microwave. We especially liked the porch.There was plenty of storage.

We loved our stay so much at Our Happy Place!! We come to Chincoteague every year and love the Oyster Bay community. From the moment we got there, it was nothing but a great time. The screened in porch was nice anytime of the day, especially when you catch the wind from the water. The open floor plan of the house and the decorations where lovely. Every piece of furniture in the house was super comfy so we all slept soundly. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had an Air fryer! The outdoor shower was a must after the beach to wash all the sand off. We brought our boat so having a boat dock and ramp right there to launch was very convenient. There is honestly not one bad thing I could find about this house. We will definitely be staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great, pet friendly house along the water.

We had a great time! The perfect place for our dog and toddler. The porch was fully fenced in and allowed the two of them to stay outside without worry of either going down the stairs. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and house was spacious and roomy enough for our party. Location on provided a great view throughout the day.

We had our grown sons and their families stay with us at the house. More chairs on the screened in porch would be a great thing to add. As we spent the bulk of our time outside. Other than that; this house fit our needs perfectly. Unfortunately we found out the rates and the in/out of season times have changed and the added increases in cost will keep us away from our love of Chincoteague and this awesome house.

We enjoyed our week at Our Happy Place! The location on Oyster Bay was wonderful - we really liked sitting on the front screened-in porch watching the geese and humans. My husband brought his canoe and paddled it right out front. It was a very quiet location, yet convenient to town and to the beach. We also felt very safe. The house was well appointed. The house was very clean and well maintained. My only suggestion would be to add some additional seating. There was only one sectional sofa, so if you are a family of 4 or 5 or had guests over, I'm not sure where everyone would sit to watch TV or chat. Two comfortable reading chairs or recliners near the T.V. would be ideal. The bedrooms were also a bit sparse - no chairs for reading, no mirrors. I would also add some wine glasses and a blender.

Attractive, clean property in a fantastic location. We rented a kayak for the week and made a lot of use of the boat launch out the back door. Be sure to pick up fresh sea food close by and enjoy your meal on the screened porch. Lovely stay and look forward to staying there again.
