"Peaceful View"

5
Piney Island Paradise is one of our favorite places to stay. It is a comfortable roomy condo in a quiet peaceful location with a great view of the marshes and the lighthouse and ponies across the channel.

"Another Enjoyable Stay"

5
We love watching the marsh birds and the lighthouse and ponies across the channel from the upstairs balcony. We also enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the East Side. The condo is comfortable and roomy. Also the Coastal Shores staff are always a pleasure to deal with and have many nice rentals.

"Quiet location with peaceful views"

5
This was our second stay at Piney Island Paradise. We enjoy the views of the lighthouse and ponies across the channel and the marsh birds. Also it was very quiet here (at least when we stayed). The condo is roomy and nicely furnished.

"Wonderful weekend with family"

5
Piney Island Paradise was a wonderful space for our family to relax and unwind with great views of Assateague Island and the Lighthouse. We regret not being able to stay longer, the porch rocking and storytelling was amazing and we can't wait to go back to Chincoteague!

"Wonderful view of march and channel"

5
Lovely condo -- comfortable with nice decor. We enjoyed watching the marsh birds from the upper balcony and the ponies across the channel. The small garage was handy for our bicycles. The area was quiet and peaceful (at least while we were there in early May). Would like to stay again sometime.Coastal Shores people are great to deal with - friendly and efficient.

"Very Good BUT . . ."

4
We've returned to Piney Island Paradise every summer for the last 22 years for its natural setting in the midst of the marsh. We love the peaceful escape that the quiet flow of the tides and wildlife offer. It is for this reason that we were surprised and disappointed by the conspicuous display of controversial political flags (one, alluding to profanity) hung directly in every neighbor and boater's view over the marsh at 7161 Piney Island Road. We vacation on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands to get away from the vitriol of contemporary politics. What a shock to see it forced upon us just as we, like so many others on vacation, sought escape. We hope that the homeowner's association will come to an agreement, for the welfare of everyone, (renters, owners, and all boaters in this area of the marsh) to refrain from political messaging on their properties in order to preserve the natural peacefulness of their community.

"Kayak Trip 2023"

5
The home was very clean, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable. the decks were great to sit on after a day of kayaking, quiet, great views of the Lighthouse, great views of wildlife. We cook alot and the kitchen had everything we needed except a grill. The homeowners supply beach chairs and equipment in the garage. Great place.
