Description

Come enjoy this 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse in the Lighthouse Estates community off East Side Drive. There is a community pool as well as water access and a dock (shared) to fish and crab from. This unit features a washer/dryer, wireless internet, central air conditioning and all the other comforts of home! You'll enjoy all the "extras" like flat screen TVs (one in the living room and each bedroom) and a PlayStation 3 gaming system. Come and stay with us at Vast Views - you won't be disappointed!

- Linens and towels are not included with your reservation. Please inquire about our new attractive linen packages!
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival. Pet restriction: one pet max.

"Very Good"

Vast Views is in a quiet but still convenient location. Nice area for a bike. The unit would be pretty crowded for 8 but was comfortable for 4 people. It was clean and well furnished with just a few minor maintenance needs. For those with mobility issues, the inside steps are quite steep with narrow treads. Overall, we liked the unit and found Chincoteague Island to be a friendly and beautiful place to visit.

We have rented three units in Lighthouse Estates for a family reunion for four years in a row now. We love this community. The kids love the pool and Memorial Park, we love the proximity to kayak rental access, the view of the lighthouse, and watching he Canadian geese population that lives in the vicinity. We have been coming to Chincoteague/Assateague since 1993, and we have stayed at Lighthouse Estates more than at any other place on Chincoteague. We've already reserved for summer 2023!

As usual, our rental unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived. As we were there early in the season (early May) the pool had not yet been cleaned. Since we had relatively warm weather, this was a disappointment. The pool did not have a ‘pool closed’ sign on it, and there were folks swimming in the filth.

Nice clean spacious apartment, unfortunately had a black ant problem in the kitchen. We had to spray ourselves. Cleaners should have caught that one,

"Excellent Location for Little Ones"

This was a top notch home base to entertain my toddler for a week. A convenient location to all the amenities helped us avoid any tantrums in the car. It was less than a 5 minute drive to all the down town restaurants, less than 10 minutes to the beach and to see the ponies and walking distance to a huge playground. The pool on site was great too-we had it all to ourselves for hours a day until our fingers were prunes. We also had a good time looking at ducks, frogs and crabs on the dock. Once our daughter went to bed her momma and I had a nice time looking out on the lighthouse from the deck while we had a cold drink. Great place, great vacation!

The accommodations were just right for 5 adults. The queen size bed was so comfortable! My family enjoyed one day at the pool as the weather was so good to us we were blessed with going to the beach during our stay. We were short on coffee mugs but I notified our staff and they quickly responded and we came home to find 5 new coffee mugs on our kitchen table. We have stayed at this location before 2 years ago and highly recommend! Great value.
