Description

Only for the discerning traveler, 'Wildcat Haven' is the newest in luxury vacation accommodations on Chincoteague Island. The reverse floor plan is over 2,800 square feet and offers views of the bay and marshlands where wildlife abounds from nearly every room. The first floor features 4 bedrooms, all en-suite with full bathrooms and a large recreational room with second kitchen and waterside deck. The second floor features the main living areas - living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room - as well as another waterside deck and screened porch. If you love to fish and crab, or just sit at the water's edge, you'll LOVE the 500' private pier! Vacationing with a large group? Check out the sister house 'Wildcat Retreat' right next door!

This home is a new one and very well laid out. We have a wonderful time and will definitely come back! House is big, each bedroom has it's own private bath with a gathering room where the bedrooms are! Kitchen is amazing. There was nothing that we didn't like about this property. Located right on the bay for beautiful views!

Wildcat Haven proved to be a fun place for our weekend getaway. Coastal Resort Vacations surprised us with a welcome package; this included dishwashing liquid and coffee. Another box contained all the toiletries one could have forgotten. We discovered Wildcat Haven being next to Wildcat Retreat and rented both homes for us 8, a bedroom for each person! The screened in porch was an asset for us to relax in the evening. It was a gorgeous home, decorated simply. The spacious kitchen and living area and the large dining table was so comfortable. Would be a good idea to include some foil, saran wrap, kitchen towels, and zip lock bags in the kitchen. If you could label the drawers, that might be helpful. Loved that you had so much kitchenware in the house. Great place for a family reunions. Awesome service from all the people who work at Coastal Resort Vacations. You know how to take care of us!

Beautiful place and perfect for our large family. Very clean and the decor was outstanding. Walking on the private dock to see the absolute most stunning sunsets everyday was worth every penny. Highly recommend and the rental company goes above and beyond with customer service.

"Wonderful stay"

The home was beautiful and well-appointed. The floorplan made it easy for our two families to spread out, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We spent a lot of time on the dock, and it was large enough to pile all of our paddleboards on so we didn't have to drag them back every time we were finished with them. The only thing we were missing was propane for the grill. But other than that, we all had a wonderful time and will be booking this home again. Thank you for a great weekend!

"Wonderful Vacation Home"

We had a great time at Wildcat Haven. The house is new so everything is still working properly and looks great. 3 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, a great ice maker really put this home over the top!! the kitchen was stocked exceptionally well for those who like to cook. Also..no restaurant can be better than the view you have at Wildcat Haven while dining, outside on the screened porch or inside at the long lovely table! The outside furniture was perfect!!! We spent many hours on the quiet dock just relaxing. We also went clamming, played in the bay water and fed some crabs. This house really was perfect for our family and we hope to be able to rent it again sometime! If anyone is considering this house….you really won’t’t be disappointed.

"Picture Perfect!"

Wildcat Haven and Wildcat Retreat were the perfect accommodations for our annual family vacation to Chincoteague. There is 16 of us and renting the two houses that are side by side was the win win for us! Plenty of space for the families to spread out, four bedrooms with their own bathroom was a fabulous selling point, well equipped kitchen. Having the beds made with the linen rental was a much-appreciated touch! Very relaxing area, great chance to view wildlife and breathtaking sunsets - ours were not as great this year due to the smoke from the Canadian wild fires. Wonderful memories were made and we plan to return!

We rented Wildcat Haven for my daughter's baby shower. It was PERFECT! The open floor plan and furnishings provided a great base for the party. The views were icing on the cake! This home ranks right up at the top of the three homes we’ve rented here so far this year. The standalone ice maker in the kitchen, all of the common areas and bedrooms outfitted with the Samsung Smart TVs, the Spectrum WiFi and TV app service that has worked very reliably all week (even through the storm!), and the fully stocked kitchen made things very easy for us even when the weather didn’t want to cooperate.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Wildcat Haven very much. First of all, the house was ant free! I imagine that in the years to come those insects will find their way inside, but not this year. The furniture was very nice and comfortable. The ice maker was out of this world. The house had a lovely screened in deck, but it didn’t have a mosquito barrier under the decking. My biggest disappointment was the layout of the kitchen. It was clear that whoever designed the kitchen doesn’t cook. The sink is too far from the prep space and refrigerator. The trash cans aren’t located in convenient places either.

We had a fantastic time with lots of space. We enjoyed having our Chincoteague cousins come over for a reunion and all were amazed at the room we had there. The sun set was very pretty also.
