Located just off of Ridge Road on the southern portion of the island, you'll find Marsh Point. A two bedroom, two and a half bath townhome unit with (shared) dock access. A lovely screened in porch dining area for cooking up the crabs you'll catch right off the dock and enjoying with family and friends, you're sure to be comfortable here! On the ground floor you'll find the comfortable living area with plush new furniture, a fully-equipped galley-style kitchen (electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), a dining area with table, a utility closet with a washer and dryer, and a half bath/powder room in the hallway. Upstairs you'll find the bedrooms - a master suite with queen bed and a full bath. The other bedroom upstairs boasts a balcony with a beautiful view of the salt marsh below. For sleeping arrangements you'll find a bunk (a full on the bottom and a twin on top - always fun fighting over who gets that one!). Another twin is also located in the second bedroom as well. A full bath is located in the hallway upstairs. If you look to the grassy grove across the street you'll be looking at the location of the former Beebe Ranch, home of Misty of Chincoteague. You can almost see the little pinto paint filly frolicking through the paddock. Sit on the bench at the end of the dock with a cocktail or a cup of coffee at sunset and feel the cool island breezes coming off of the inlet and Curtis Merritt Harbor, just a little further down the road. Ride into town to get a bite to eat, or grab a few ingredients at one of our local seafood markets (a wonderful fishmonger and lobster lady lives just across the street) to make something easy at home. No matter what you decide, make a point to enjoy yourself at Marsh Point.

Villa 118 at Sunset Bay boasts an en-suite bedroom with king bed, private bath featuring a stand up shower AND a bathtub - along with private outdoor patio access from the bedroom. Two other bedrooms feature a king in one, and a twin in the other. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area with coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, electric range, and plenty of countertop for that family seafood feast you will want to make while you're with us. Have a few friends sit at the bar while you mix up a few cocktails, then enjoy "people-watching" on the Chincoteague Channel as the evening picks up. Located on the banks of Holden's Creek, a headwater of the Chesapeake Bay and a 20-minute drive to the pristine white sand Atlantic beach on Assateague Island, Creek House Guest Cottages are private, convenient, and offer bespoke modern amenities. Explore life off the beaten path and take a true vacation. Whether you are kayaking or paddle boarding on the creek, sitting by the fire pit, biking down country roads or going to the beach, you will find plenty to do or enjoy doing nothing at all. The views of the creek are magical at any time of the day or night from inside your cottage or from any vantage point on the 3-acre property. The Cottages have been designed and decorated by a professional interior designer.

'Porter's Barn' has partnered with our friends at Sun Outdoors Resort (located less than 2 miles from the house) so that all guests may enjoy the fun resort amenities FREE OF CHARGE. This extra bonus includes a private beach w/ water rentals, pool, playground, "snak shak", comfort stations & more! 

Shared amenities include: a gas grill, 20 ft. radius fire pit, 2 kayaks, a SUP, and 2 bicycles. There is a boat launch on the property and two docks (one floating). Linens and towels are provided.
