Bring fishing poles, crab pots, kayaks or paddle boards to use along the bulkhead or put in your boat from the convenient community boat launch. You will only be a short drive or fun bicycle ride away from Assateague Wildlife Refuge, the beach and Main Street of Chincoteague.
There are many features of The Ryokan to ensure a pleasant stay. The split level design offers a full bath and 3 bedrooms upstairs, two of which are waterfront with balconies. Enjoy the beautiful water view from a spacious main floor kitchen and living room. Early birds will love having coffee watching the sunrise from the deck or screened in porch! Downstairs offers a waterside deck as well as a large family room, bedroom with bunk beds and a full bath. Go under the house for a shaded spot to hang your hammock and enjoy an outdoor shower after a day at the beach!

Shady Side
Shady Side is located in Piney Island, which is among the closest communities to the beach. There is community water access, suitable for a kayak or canoe. The house features two queen bedrooms and a full bath downstairs. Upstairs you'll find two additional bedrooms, one has two twins and the other has a queen bed. There is also a full bath on the second floor. The loft features a futon with a full mattress. The large back porch is equipped with a gas grill and picnic table for your cookouts and crab feasts!

High Tide
We're pleased to be able to offer 'High Tide' as one of our most popular vacation rental selections! The true epitome of a beach house, you'll enjoy the bright, cheery decor and spacious feel of this fabulous home. The downstairs features an open living room (with fireplace and flat-screen TV), dining area and kitchen, as well as over-sized windows and access to the two (yes, TWO!) screened porches. One porch features a wonderful dining set; perfect for dining al fresco. The second spacious porch features a large hammock and nice sectional lounging sofa. As if that's not enough outdoor space, there are also multi-level, open air decks on the front and back of the home! There's also a bedroom (king) and full bathroom downstairs. The upstairs features two additional bedrooms (one with a queen & two twin beds, and the other with a queen & one twin bed), and a full bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms are enhanced by sliding doors and private balconies. You'll enjoy snippet water views of the Assateague Channel! Don't delay, 'High Tide' books quickly. Please note: As part of the Piney Island Community, this rental includes water access at a shared community location just a short distance from the home.

Donovan's Reef
Charming Chincoteague coastal cottage doesn't even begin to describe this place, but it's a start. Cheery, bright, and colorful - with some form of island history gracing every nook and cranny. Find the perfect mix of old and new in this unique home. Close enough to the main drag on Maddox Boulevard and Main Street - but out of the hurly-burly here on Ocean Boulevard. Wake up a few minutes before everyone else and head across the street to get fresh donuts from Mister Whippy or chocolate croissants from Amarin to surprise everyone with. You'll be the hero for the day, until someone else brings home oysters that night. Oh, and bring your furry friends along, because this one's PET FRIENDLY! This property features lots of nooks for sleeping spaces - a loft upstairs, featuring skylights that let the bright island sunshine flood in. Up here you'll find a cozy king size bed in one room, and two twins in another, with a full bath that features a gorgeous tiled stand up shower. Downstairs you'll find two more bedrooms - one with two twins, and the other with a king. Three different comfortable living areas, one of which is an outdoor sunroom - and that room has doors that connects to the downstairs king - in addition to the main living area. Small backyard area for letting the puppies play or eating lunch outside at the picnic table. The retro mid-century kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare that island seafood dinner with what you catch down at the town dock, and a lovely dining area to enjoy it as a family. Donovan's Reef is located in the heart of downtown Chincoteague, allowing you an easy walk to all the shopping the island has to offer. Stop by Chincotiki on your way home and grab an orange crush or two!

Counting Corks
Welcome to 'Counting Corks' (formerly known as 'Smith Beach Pines'), the moment you step foot in this beautiful waterfront cottage you feel at home. The pet friendly cottage is 1,150 sq ft, featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and TV. On the other end of the home the second bedroom features a queen bed and a TV. The third bedroom features a twin over a full bunk bed. The cottage also has a bar room leading into the deck area, with plenty of seating to entertain. The dock leads to the creek and is just waiting for you to go crabbing, fishing, or kayaking or simply enjoy the beautiful sunrise while drinking a cup of coffee. The property is a short distance to the community beach and to the community boat ramp. Also features an outdoor shower and a firepit area with plenty of seating. The cottage is located just a few short miles from the Historic Town of Cape Charles and about 25 minutes from Kiptopeke State Park.

Avalon is a charming 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home situated on a bulkheaded waterfront lot on Oyster Bay! There is a large great room that boasts two family rooms, a dining area and large kitchen. From the gas fireplace, to the 16' cathedral knotted pine ceilings, this home is bright, warm and inviting. Avalon offers two queen bedrooms with screened porch access (one private) and two twin bedrooms. Offering over 600 sq. ft. of screened porch - you could live outdoors! Welcome to Piney Island Paradise! This well-furnished townhouse is nestled in a secluded cul-de-sac along East Side Drive and offers some of the best views of Assateague Island and the historic lighthouse located across the channel. The channel on Eastside offers some of the calmest water for kayaking, plentiful crabbing, and great fishing. Enjoy the most beautiful sunrise views from this vacation home along with quiet solitude! This home also offers 2 kayaks for your enjoyment!
Upon entering this home, you will find a half bath, first floor bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a well-stocked kitchen, living room, and large waterfront deck with plenty of seating to relax, enjoy the wildlife, and watch the ponies grazing on Assateague Island. On the 2nd floor you will find two more bedrooms as well as the laundry area. The main suite features a king-sized bed with a full bathroom and waterfront deck to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and beautiful sunrise views. You will also find a 3rd bedroom that easily accommodates 5 more guests. This room features a twin over twin bunk, a twin over full bunk, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. Wildflower
Beautiful waterfront home with shared pier plus floating dock on deep water!! Ground level is a large screened patio perfect for those summer time seafood feasts. The first level is great room boasting reclaimed barn board walls and wide plank pine floors with a separate den and full bath. There is a second screened porch overlooking that water from the great room. The second level has a large waterfront master suite with a private balcony, two more bedrooms and another full bath. Close to Memorial Park right across the street from a family restaurant! (Spiral staircase in home, may not be suitable for small children.) For larger groups for family reunions, check out nearby Moon Rising or Herbie's Hideaway!
