Located just off South Main Street, you'll enjoy easy access to everything this beloved island community has to offer. Nature and fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Veteran's Memorial Park - perfect for morning walks, afternoon picnics or letting the kiddos expel some energy! Adventure seekers can head to Maui Jack's Waterpark for family fun, while the stunning Assateague Beach beckons with its pristine shoreline and legendary wild horses roaming freely along the sand.

Comfortable home on large, side-creek lot with fantastic views from both the front and back of house! Excellent crabbing from dock! (Property sits on creek only suitable for kayaks, canoes and crabbing.) Just a short distance to Memorial Park and Fairgrounds. 2 living room areas, 2 full baths, well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, 1-car garage, Direct TV, wireless internet, DVD, BBQ grill, 4 adult beach cruisers (bring your own helmet), 2 kayaks, crab traps and net, games, books, puzzles, and some beach gear!

Enjoy your cup of coffee as the sun peeks over the salt marshes of Assateague Island. You can often see a herd of our famous wild ponies grazing to the right of the lighthouse from your private waterfront deck and second-floor balcony - not to mention the copious amounts of waterfowl and other wildlife in the channel. Pony View boasts three bedrooms - A master with queen bed, full bath, and balcony on second floor, as well as another bedroom with a queen on the second floor - along with another full size bath. On the third floor you will find an amazing view of the marsh with the panoramic window and four twin beds, and a beautiful bathroom with a rustic wooden sliding door. The ground floor is where you'll find the hub of the house - fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space. A dining table and bar seating area, a half bath, and a cozy living area with floor-to-ceiling knockout views. Or enjoy the waterfront deck just outside the living room. Pony View is pet-friendly so your furry friend can enjoy the water view as well. Dock access along with a boat slip is available for your use. Crab and fish right from the house! A deep water boat ramp is found just at the end of the complex for you to drop in. Central air/heat will keep you comfortable year round. There is also a washer/dryer, and an outside grill for your use while you're with us. Memorial Park is just a short walk up the street for a wonderful waterfront park and playground, tennis and volleyball courts, fishing pier, picnic areas, and walking trail.

Please note: Parking is limited to 2 spaces (this includes a boat/trailer if you are bringing one). Max. boat size for docking is 20'. If alternate parking accommodations are needed, please ask.

As soon as you enter the home, its light and airy floor plan lifts your spirit, calms your mind, and promises to rejuvenate your body. Meticulously maintained, continuously updated, La Vie features a fully equipped granite counter gourmet kitchen with a new large six burner induction stovetop.  You’ll likely want to cook, or eat, or relax as it gives  you a chance to take in the breathtaking water views.  Watch the sun set from anywhere in this large open space second floor central living area.

The home’s entry level features a newly furnished queen bedroom with sliding glass doors opening to the incredible views on your waterfront deck. Plus another large bedroom has two twin beds!  If you need another bed yet, pull the curtain shut to a cozy alcove and sleep soundly on the full sized sofa bed. Extra privacy abounds in the 3rd floor suite!  Enjoy more of the spectacular water views from your king-size bed, private balcony, or wicker lounge chairs.  Immerse yourself in the large jacuzzi-style tub. La Vie offers plenty of space to share this retreat for friends and family!

And there's more! The two additional bedrooms have a queen and two double beds to cater to all your guests. And when you want to take things outside, you'll find a grill to cook up a storm and outdoor seating to enjoy the island breeze. Get ready to soak up the sun in style! Located off of Clark street, you are within close proximity of many restaurants, local shops, and a short drive to the beach!
