Welcome to 'Counting Corks' (formerly known as 'Smith Beach Pines'), the moment you step foot in this beautiful waterfront cottage you feel at home. The pet friendly cottage is 1,150 sq ft, featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and TV. On the other end of the home the second bedroom features a queen bed and a TV. The third bedroom features a twin over a full bunk bed. The cottage also has a bar room leading into the deck area, with plenty of seating to entertain. The dock leads to the creek and is just waiting for you to go crabbing, fishing, or kayaking or simply enjoy the beautiful sunrise while drinking a cup of coffee. The property is a short distance to the community beach and to the community boat ramp. Also features an outdoor shower and a firepit area with plenty of seating. The cottage is located just a few short miles from the Historic Town of Cape Charles and about 25 minutes from Kiptopeke State Park.

'Porter's Barn' has partnered with our friends at Sun Outdoors Resort (located less than 2 miles from the house) so that all guests may enjoy the fun resort amenities FREE OF CHARGE. This extra bonus includes a private beach w/ water rentals, pool, playground, "snak shak", comfort stations & more! 

Shared amenities include: a gas grill, 20 ft. radius fire pit, 2 kayaks, a SUP, and 2 bicycles. There is a boat launch on the property and two docks (one floating). Linens and towels are provided.

In addition to Porter's Barn, the compound is also home to two other luxurious dwellings: Hosta Cottage and Creek House. All combined, The Creek Compound will accommodate 18 with no parking problems. Please note that this listing is for Porter's Barn only; the other two homes - Creek House and Hosta Cottage - must be booked separately. Villa 312 is a beautiful 3 bedroom villa featuring a master bedroom suite with luxury bath, gourmet kitchen with center island which is great for entertaining, laundry room with washer/dryer and a waterside balcony overlooking Chincoteague Bay. There are TVs in all the bedrooms, and a computer desk to work from. Villa 312 will sleep 8, and features lots of extras including beach gear and baby gear for your use, as well as a 14' boat slip. Your rental also includes the use of the Sunset Bay pool and fitness area. Located adjacent to our historic downtown area, where you'll find gourmet food shops, boutiques, a public library, galleries and fine dining - all with a short stroll.
